Astor Hyde Park Hostel (Adults Only), London

My stay at the hostel was overall quite pleasant. The accommodations were clean and I really appreciated the space and natural light in my room. The location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw from Hyde Park. However, having no lift made lugging my suitcase around a bit of a hassle. Additionally, the staff could use a bit more enthusiasm as some were less than welcoming, which dampened the experience slightly.

My stay at this hostel was disappointing due to hygiene issues and a lack of customer service. Despite being in a great location near Hyde Park and museums, the cleanliness was far below expectations. The shared facilities and lack of proper amenities were frustrating. On the bright side, the price was reasonable for the area, but overall, I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.

However, I found the triple bunk beds uncomfortable and struggled with storage for my valuables due to limited locker availability, which was a concern for me.

Breakfast was affordable and went to charity, making it a great value. However, the kitchen facilities could definitely use improvements.

The facilities were clean and welcoming, creating a friendly atmosphere, especially in the kitchen and dining area in the evenings. However, I did find that climbing several flights of stairs to reach my room could be a hassle for some. Overall, it was a relaxing experience with a really homely vibe.
